Founded in 1945, the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) is one of Canada's two chiropractic schools. CMCC's founders envisioned an institution that offers excellent education, unifies the profession in Canada, and advances chiropractic science. With a comprehensive 4,500+ hour curriculum, CMCC prepares graduates for national licensing exams and roles as primary contact healthcare professionals. The evidence-based undergraduate program, a second-entry baccalaureate honours degree, is designed for candidates with at least three years of university study. CMCC aims to develop competent, ethical, and compassionate chiropractors through rigorous education and research.

In 1993, the University of Quebec in Trois-Rivieres (UQTR) launched its chiropractic program for the first time, making history as the first public institution globally to offer a Doctorate in Chiropractic program in French. To date, UQTR remains the sole francophone university in Canada offering this program.

Cleveland University-Kansas City (CUKC) was founded in 1922 by Palmer graduates Dr. Carl S. Cleveland Sr., Dr. Ruth R. Cleveland, and Dr. Perl B. Griffin. The college began with three students and graduated its first Doctor of Chiropractic in 1924. In 1951, Dr. Tullius Ratledge's Los Angeles college merged with Cleveland's, becoming Cleveland Chiropractic College of Los Angeles, which consolidated with the Kansas City campus in 2011. Now led by Dr. Carl S. Cleveland III, CUKC continues to honor its pioneering vision.

The Durban University of Technology was the first chiropractic school in Africa and had its first intake in 1989. DUT has been part of the WCCS since 2011, keeping membership always consistent and having had a number of its chapter members serve as regional coordinators and on the WCCS board of directors over the years. DUT also hosts bi-annually an African Regional Event, as it takes turns with the University of Johannesburg. DUT students are passionate about community service and try to assist and service the needs of the community around them. The chapter always gets involved in all initiatives including World Spine Day, ACT4SDG’s week and many others. The Chapter has grown from strength to strength through the years and members are cognisant of building for the students that are to follow.

Since welcoming its first students in 1966, the University of Southern Denmark (SDU) has grown rapidly. With five faculties and over 27,000 students, including 20% international, SDU ranks among world’s top fifty fifty young universities and is recognized for conducting high-caliber research according to several international assessments. In 1994, SDU introduced a bachelor's degree in chiropractic, now part of a fully state-funded five-year program leading to a master's degree in clinical biomechanics. The program includes diagnostics, disorders of the extremities, interdisciplinary management, exercise theory, applied research, and a five-month hospital internship at a specialized hospital for back pain patients, supporting the interprofessional work between MDs, DCs and PTs. Graduates must complete a one-year postgraduate course for full authorization to practice in Denmark.

From the fifth year, specialized teachings in chiropractic medicine dominate. The curriculum is based on evidence-based practice and encourages interprofessional collaboration. The program emphasizes public safety and offers a comprehensive, job-ready education in chiropractic care. Although accredited by the Council on Chiropractic Education Australasia (CCEA), the Bachelor of Chiropractic degree has not yet been recognized by the Chiropractic Board of Australia as an Approved Program of Study. Consequently, graduates cannot immediately practice chiropractic at the time of graduation like other programs from other universities. However, the Chiropractic Board of Australia is expected to consider the program upon graduation of its first cohort in 2024.
